Sensorial Spaces

Activating spaces through the senses
The approach of the project is to materialize the interaction of the body with the space, and how this shapes the way one experiences it, versus the idealization of it.
The idea of perfection (nine square grid) is the starting point, which is successively manipulated through different forces that seek to map the body’s interaction with it, as well as natural forces such as gravity and sunlight, distorting the ideal grid. Final space is the product of building from point to line to surface to volume.
Sight and hearing are the senses that drive the activation of the place by inhabiting it. The shifting of the space as one flows through, motivates for further exploration. While the shifting scale of openings (tectonic) changes the interaction in-between spaces. Being set up on a cliff allows for a shift of scale of the body in the space inhabited.
